Sandra Kuckenbecker
Retirement was boring…silk ribbon embroidery had run its course…it was time for something new. Then she discovered the local bead store. After a series of classes from the basics to advanced, Sandi Kuckenbecker realized that not only had she found a great way to relax and meet new friends, and a pastime that she loved, but the start of a new business venture. With several years of creating beaded jewelry the shelves were getting pretty well stocked and if she was going to keep making jewelry, she needed to find a sales outlet as well. Since Sandi retired from managing a website development group, it made sense that she use her skills to create an outlet that would allow others to see and buy the unique jewelry creations of herself and her friends...and The Jewelry Gallerie was born. |

Jane LaRose McGowan
Beads are Jane LaRose McGowan’s, the Queen Bead Diva, passion, especially seed beads. Being a contemporary artist and loving form, curves and texture it was a natural path for her to Sculptural Peyote giving a unique shape to her bead designs. She teaches classes in three bead stores in Melbourne, and Sebastian, Florida, and also has home parties with Luxe Jewels. Her classes consist of the basics, but she specializes in many off the loom bead weaving techniques, such as the peyote, ndebele, right angle weave, etc. Although she only has been beading for 3 years, her path was one from quilting, knitting and sewing which gave Jane the basis for design and color in this art form. In her capacity at AA Stained Glass and More, she not only teaches, but does repairs, helps clients design, answers questions and has become know as the Queen Bead Diva…thus her business name was born.

Danial Caleb Peters
Being self-taught and motivated by his Native American heritage, Danial Caleb Peters has been creating his own style of native beadwork for more than 10 years. Running Elk Gallery is based on his native name. His primary focus is the creation of heavily beaded rosettes and freestyle medallions depicting native symbols. The pieces are created on deer or elk hide to keep the feel of the historical works that have inspired his style. Peters loves the challenge of working in great detail with size 11 seed beads and enjoys the intricacy of the work that others would often find tedious. |
